Could Simon Mignolet leave Anfield this summer?

According to reports from La Derniere Heure in France,  Simon Mignolet could be on the move in the summer with Napoli and Dortmund both considering a move.

Mignolet,  who is also a member of the Belgian Nation Team, has been largely criticised this season and although Liverpool are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League, his performances when called upon haven’t been up to scratch and his ability as a goalkeeper has been seriously questioned.

At the back end of this season,  the Belgian’s game time has been severely limited after German international Lorius Karius has impressed and has made it hard for Mignolet to get back in between the sticks for the Merseyside outfit. Along with the season coming to an end and the transfer window fast approaching,  Liverpool will be looking to offload some players in the summer and Mignolet could certainly be one of them and complimented by the player himself on the search for game time,  he may very well be on his way out.

Napoli and Dortmund are both enjoying what is for them a very successful campaign and with Mignolet on both of their shopping lists this summer they obviously see something in the Belgian and think that they can turn him into the goalkeeper that was expected of him before arriving at Anfield in 2013. It is a very interesting rumour to say the least, and if any truth comes out of this and any deal is put on the cards then it will be a questionable bit of business by either club and also a risk.

Will it be one worth taking or one that they will regret?

Let us know what you think of the potential move in the comments below. Also, who do you think he is more likely to join out of the two clubs here?
